Will my biggest mistake
Become my biggest victory?
We’ll just have to wait and see
Which wisdom prevails on that day.

Will the biggest award
Be for the biggest tragedy?

Colours
Twist into
The axis of black & white
As we’re untwisted back into a time
In which our god box could speak less clearly,
With visions less profound,
Yet had something much more worthwhile to say.

But today
Red paint stains my mind
Making you red like wine
And just as intoxicating.

Bubbles burst on the floor
In the halls of sincerity.

Afraid of you
Because I don’t understand,
I take you by the hand,
Leading you gently to the ocean
Where I push you in,
Hoping to replace a drowning victim
With a crowning creation.

Bubbles burst on the floor
In the halls of sincerity,
Leaving smatterings of soapy film
As sincerity twists into lies.
