I guess Obama thinks, “Been there, done that.” Well, I think, “Been there, let's expand on that! We should colonize the moon first, and then attempt Mars with the lessons we’ve learned, especially if Mars will be a one way trip. Colonizing a closer sphere, the Moon, where we've already been, would be wiser. Learn from that, and then send humans to Mars.”
