"SHE REALLY GOT HER STUPID ON!"

I think Padmé was an idiot in "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones," when Anakin confessed his slaughter of the entire village of Sand People, including the women and children. "I killed them all! They were animals, and I slaughtered them like animals." Padmé responded, basically, with an, "Oh, there there, Anakin. Don't worry. Let me give you a hug." Of course, I'm paraphasing ;-)

Don't get me wrong. I love Padmé, and she was usually the smartest one in the room. But this was a moment in which she really got her stupid on! It was the weirdest response to mass murder I've ever witnessed.
