I am a NUDIST and everyone knows it. I'm very open about it. I also highly prefer the term nudist over naturist. If we're going to be clear with the world about our nudity, the term nudist makes it clear to everyone. The term naturist sounds like we're botanists out in the fields scientifically analyzing flowers; and I even hear naturists screwing up the term by calling themselves naturalists, which is a mistake only the textile (non-naked) world could be excused for. If we're going to be clear to the world about our naked world view, let's make it clear and unambiguous by calling ourselves nudists. That's my vote. -- @NudistPoet
