I just got home from Tim Hortons. While I was there, eating my supper, I noticed three people at the other end of the restaurant, huddled together quietly. When I was done eating, my curiosity had me walk by them, to see if it was some kind of prayer meeting. Their heads were bowed. As I got closer, I realized, they were all bowed down over their mobile devices, typing or surfing or viewing their playlists. Bowed down to their gods...in a way, it was some kind of prayer meeting. But, who am I to judge? Did I mention the supper I had just finished eating was a box of a half-dozen doughnuts?
