I wonder if Whoopi Goldberg would claim to be "against hate speech." I suspect she would.

Then how can Whoopi Goldberg call Glenn Beck "A lying sack of dog mess" and not condemn herself as a hate monger? I mean, come on Whoopi. You've got to admit, "A lying sack of dog mess" are hating words! See the back cover of Glenn Beck's book "ARGUING WITH IDIOTS" to see several other celebrity idiots espousing their hate against Glenn Beck. Keith Olbermann (who always makes my skin crawl) compares Glenn Beck to a "suicide bomber," just because he disagrees with Glenn Beck. Now, what a loving thing to say ;-)

THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF HATE CRIME IS RIDICULOUS! It's also redundant; it's like saying, "Crime crime." All crime is hate. There is no such thing as a loving crime.

Now, am I hateful toward Keith Olbermann by saying that he "makes my skin crawl"? I'm sure most in the media would think so, but I'm just stating my true opinion.

The unforgiveable sin in this culture is "offending someone," but only certain someones. Offending Glenn Beck? Hey, that's no problem.
