When we are "in tune" with the Holy Spirit, evil spirits will not win us over. The problem is that the spiritual radio has a dial, and our sinful natures can "tune out", by moving to another station. What we really need to do is "tune into" the Holy Spirit's radio station, and then BREAK OFF THE KNOB.

And then, there is a new danger. With the tuning knob broken, we can no longer turn away from the Holy Spirit's radio station. However, we can turn the radio off. The evil spirits will still not win us over, but neither will the Holy Spirit. The only moral influence we will have left is our own sinful hearts. Though we may have been redeemed by the blood of Christ, and have a place in heaven, nothing sinful will enter, so very little of the redeemed sinner will make it into heaven either. Only the residue of God's image will make it in. The rest of the apostate man will be burned up in God's refining fire. And if we're honest with ourselves, all of us believers will enter heaven, at least, a little burnt around the edges, but only to mirror Jesus' eternal scars that brought us safely through the fire.
