Every few years as MegaPixels and optical zoom power increase, I upgrade my camera for my superzoom lunar photography passion. This photo edit is from my newest camera, and what you’re seeing is a shrunken version to make this part of my photograph fit a 1280 x 1280 pixel image. Yes, my new camera gets closer than this! Unedited, with this camera, a full moon has a diametre of 2,110 pixels. My mind is officially blown. At the rate MegaPixels and optical zoom power are increasing, I’m hoping that at some point I’ll be able to photograph one of the left-over lunar landers while standing on my balcony. I’ve always got the moon on my brain. Yes, I’m a luna-tic! ;) <3
