Greg Kinnear is one of my favourite actors, and I
just watched his movie, "FEAST OF LOVE": what an
awesome movie! Very profound! Of course, i enjoyed

While I was a dance student at Valparaiso University ( http://www.valpo.edu ), Professor Julia Mayer often had us dance to "A Different Drum," track 7 of Peter Gabriel's album, "PASSION." That music became my favourite part of that dance class. I later bought "PASSION" on CD and was blown away by the entire album. It's all instrumental, although, the human voice is also used as an instrument. "PASSION" was the soundtrack to a movie I actually boycotted when it first came out. Yes, Peter Gabriel's "PASSION" is the soundtrack to "THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST." Regardless of your views of the movie, you can still totally enjoy the soundtrack, so go out and get it! Just look for "PASSION" by Peter Gabriel. Years later, after learning to think for myself, I even watched all or most of "THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST." I think I missed the beginning. Buying and watching the DVD is on my "To Do" list.

I feel a poem, hidden to the world,
Understood in my heart alone,
But growing till by the world it's known
And I am in the poet's throne...

Did you ever wonder why Jesus was a carpenter?
Did you ever wonder why He never had a wife?
Did you ever feel the love of God who became man?
Did you feel the pain when the nail went through His hand?

On Earth, Christ was a carpenter in holy preparation
For His present work in Heaven of preparing us each a home.
And on Earth, He remained single, for in His future Holy Nation,
We shall be the Bride for whom His Spirit had groaned.

So now I'll sing this little song:

"My Saviour was a carpenter.
He worked with wood,
He died on wood
And rose just like He said He would."

Did you ever feel the love of God who became man?
Did you ever know that you've been always in His plan?

You loved the sin and called it joy,
But soon you had a broken toy.

The nail of sin through Perfection's hand.

Dear Earthlings,

Have you ever noticed the magic of the mirror? I noticed it one day, focusing with my camera aimed at a mirror. Depth of field exists even in a reflection. Maybe the other side of the mirror really is another 3-dimensional world. Try it. Focus on different parts of the same reflection in a mirror. It is truly amazing that even a reflection, within a perfectly flat plane of glass, actually has depth. Even something that does not really exist can be more complex than we give it credit for.

A teenage girl
Is laughing at me--
Right in my face--
Looking directly at me.
How dare she!

I'm just minding my own business,
With my Tilley-like beige-brimmed hat on.
It's such a beautiful mid-June day!
I'm walking in my short black pants
With bulging pockets;
My blue and green spring jacket open,
Revealing my white shirt with three cartoon cattle
Sitting under a tree in the pasture,
With a sign taped to the middle cattle beast's back, saying, "EAT ME."
Plus, it's a warm day, so my long-sleeved blue and white shirt
Is tied around my waist.
It goes nicely with my long white socks
And my smooth black winter boots.

I mean, really--
She's in hysterics, looking me straight in the face.
How dare she!
